Stephanie Welling, LCPC, MHRT-C, Admin & Case Management Supervisor

I have been in the healthcare field in one capacity or another for over 15 years. I hold a Masters, Bachelors, and two Associate degrees. I worked as a case manager prior to becoming a licensed therapist (LCPC), which allowed me to bring my knowledge to Cornerstone and serve as the Waterville location Case Management supervisor. I started as an intern at Cornerstone in 2014 and have stayed due to the company aligning with my passion to truly help others and the ethics they hold. As a therapist, I have worked with individuals, couples, families, and groups. My preference for modalities includes Person Centered, Solution Focused, and Cognitive Behavioral. I have also facilitated a DBT group in the past.

Vickie Montgomery, LCPC

I have been a therapist for 24 years. Two of my specialties are anxiety disorders and PTSD. My program for anxiety disorders is unique and the success rate is very high for those who go through my program to overcome anxiety and panic disorder. I work with clients ages 6 through geriatrics. I treat clients with a wide range of psychiatric disorders from depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, border line personality disorder and others. I have worked for Cornerstone Behavioral Healthcare in Bangor for 5 years

She enjoys group therapy and group medical visits. She is the author of a number of papers on health care with aboriginal people and on psychotherapy and psychosis and on chronic pain. She has written a book with Lewis Mehl-Madrona, entitled Remapping Your Mind: the Neuroscience of Self-Transformation through Story. Joan Cain, LCPC

Life is an adventure, one that holds surprises, sorrows, joys and uncertainty. Sometimes having a friendly ear to tell your story to helps find meaning to it all. It would be my privilege to assist you in developing your life's story further. I am a firm believer in the power of positive energy. Together, we can journey into familiar territory and begin exploring new frontiers in your life. I have had experience working with people in both individual and group settings.
